Many Congratulations to Shounak Kelkar
15 year old Shounak Kelkar, son of Ashwini & Shrikant Kelkar, studying in Xth Grade at ISM Oman has done the Marathi & Indian diaspora proud by winning the Men's Title at the recently concluded Villeroy & Boch+ Hansgrove Oman Open Table Tennis Tournament conducted by Indian Social Club Oman.
Against senior experienced players from all over the Sultanate, Shounak played with poise and sound temperament, to defeat George Lopez from Spain to be crowned the Men's champion. Shounak also finished 2nd in the U-16 age group.

Congratulations to Aryan Rahul Joshi
Aryan Joshi, studying in the 7th grade in Indian School Muscat, represented his school
for Chess Clusters, held in Salalah on 28th Oct 2017.
By winning all the matches he played, Aryan played a major role in bagging the Silver Medal for his school.
Congratulations to Akshay Ashok Jathar
Akshay has been selected by Oman Cricket Club (OCC) to represent the Oman Under 16 Cricket Team for the Asian Cricket Council organized ACC Under 16 Elite Cup 2012 to be held in Malaysia from the 2nd to 13th May 2012.

Heartiest Congratulations to Rujuta Kelkar, on her achievment in Science Olympiad
Rujuta, daughter of our 4M member Jitendra & Sharmila Kelkar, a student of class VII, studying in Indian school Al Ghubra, appeared for all the four examinations and was successful in scoring 1st Rank in the state Category in all the four examinations for the academic year 2011 – 2012.
Congratulations to Alka Dhavale on completing the 10km mini Marathon
Mrs Alka Dhavale of our Marathi wing participated in the 10 Km Mini marathon organised by Muscat Festival 2012 on Friday 17th Feb 2012 and made us proud by winning Gold Medal in 10 km Mini Marathon. She completed the race in 01hr 12.40 Mins.

Srujan’s team won the Annual Quiz (TERRA QUIZ)
The Energy and Resources Institute of India (TERI) conduct Annual Quiz (TERRA QUIZ) since 1999 on Environment in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Hero Motors. In all 28 teams from Indian schools and 4 teams from Indian schools abroad were selected, to participate from quarter final rounds onward, based on the performance in the test conducted by TERI in the month of August/September 2011. These rounds were held from 16th. to 22nd. December at TERI campus in Gurgaon.

Srujan Keskar represented Indian School, Muscat. His team became Best School First Runners Up (ISM – Quizzing ISMiites) in 15th Times of Oman open quiz 2011.
Heartiest Congratulations to Nupoor Maduskar on her achievment
Nupoor represented Indian School, Al Ghubra (Gulf Zone) in the recent CBSE National Swimming Championships 2011 conducted by Sagar Public School in Bhopal, India. Around 70 CBSE schools form all over India and the Gulf participated in this competition that lasted for 4 days.
Nupoor participated in total 5 events. She, along with her relay team won 2 silver medals in 4x100m Medley Relay and 4x100m Free style relay. Nupoor is proficient is all strokes but her main stoke is Butterfly.
This is the fifth consecutive year Nupoor participated in the CBSE swimming Nationals and she has won 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal so far in addition to the many medals she won in Muscat and UAE competitions.
