15 year old Shounak Kelkar, son of Ashwini & Shrikant Kelkar, studying in Xth Grade at ISM Oman has done the Marathi & Indian diaspora proud by winning the Men's Title at the recently concluded Villeroy & Boch+ Hansgrove Oman Open Table Tennis Tournament conducted by Indian Social Club Oman.
Against senior experienced players from all over the Sultanate, Shounak played with poise and sound temperament, to defeat George Lopez from Spain to be crowned the Men's champion. Shounak also finished 2nd in the U-16 age group.
